The history of Restaurant ’t Keershuys in Den Bosch.

In ancient times Restaurant ‘t Keershuys was part of the city gate. In the 14th century this monumental building was established as a candle factory. Before people left Den Bosch, they passed the Keershuys (candle house) to get a bigger candle. This provided the only illumination on their journey. These days there is a unique restaurant housed in this unique building.
